What is Community Acupuncture?
Community Acupuncture is returning to the authentic Chinese medical model. Treatments occur in a peaceful group setting. There are six comfy zero gravity recliners in a large, quiet room with soothing music. The shared space makes it possible for friends, neighbors, and family members to come in together, or individually. A collective healing field is established that makes the treatment stronger, increasing the therapeutic effects for everyone in the room.
On your initial visit…
You will receive a one-on-one consultation.The Doctor will study your symptoms, take your pulses, and look at your tongue, in order to diagnose your complete condition.
Your treatment plan will be designed for your specific needs, and explained clearly to you.We will then begin your treatment in a comfortable zero gravity chair.
There is a one-time fee of $10.00 for this initial consult. After your initial consult, you decide what you can afford, a sliding scale of $15.00 - $35.00, proof of income is not required. We understand that everyone’s situation is different, and our primary goal is to make acupuncture available to you, as often as you need it.
The purpose of our sliding scale is to separate the issues of money and treatment.

Karin A. Danish, D.O.M., A.P. is a nationally accredited acupuncture physician, fully licensed in the state of Florida.She completed her studies here in St. Petersburg, and has been practicing acupuncture for 10+ years, in both individual and community environments.Each has proven successful and effective for a wide range of health issues, both chronic, and acute.
West Side Community Acupuncture invites you for daily, weekly, or monthly maintenance visits.Feel free to bring your friends or partner for an evening of relaxation and stress relief.
